Earlier this month, several members from Triumph Martial Arts competed in a Regional ATA Martial Arts tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In total, 14 Triumph members made the drive to participate in the 35th Annual Sioux Falls Regional ATA Martial Arts Tournament, hosted by 9th-degree black belt, Grand Master Larry Hoover.
Master Matt White, 6th degree Black Belt and Chief Instructor, commented, “We had a tremendous showing of support for the largest ATA tournament in our Region, and we couldn’t be happier. For many of the Triumph members who competed this weekend, it was their very first tournament experience, and that is amazing. Mrs. White and I are extremely proud of everyone who stepped up to compete.”
Highlights of the tournament include several medal-winning performances by Triumph Martial Arts students in a variety of divisions and categories, including: Traditional Forms, Traditional Weapons, Combat Weapons, and Sparring. Their accomplishments underscored the dedication and commitment they’ve poured into their training.
