Pella School Board members will interact with local lawmakers to begin their regular school board meeting Monday. State Senator Ken Rozenboom and State Representative Barb Kniff McCulla have been invited to discuss the upcoming legislative session with the board in a back-and-forth setting. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says with many laws in the past session and budget decisions over the past few years impacting the district, it’s critical to have a direct, public line to those voting in Des Moines. The Pella School Board meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. Monday, with regular business to start at approximately 5:30 following the legislative roundtable.
