Christian Opportunity Center is a public benefit corporation that supports and cares for individuals with disabilities. The organization began serving the public in Pella in 1969, but Executive Director Jodi Tukker says that the organization has expanded to serve more communities.

“Over the years we have grown through more homes in the communities. We have residential homes in Pella, but also in Oskaloosa, Knoxville, Indianola, and Des Moines. We have day programs in Pella, Indianola, Oskaloosa, and Knoxville, and so we just keep trying to see where the need is and how we can best meet that need.”
