Knoxville city council member John Gotta is seeking his second term in the 2023 city school elections.
Gotta was elected to city council in 2019 in a contested race, but will be running unopposed in this election. Gotta is employed by Knoxville Hospital and Clinics, and he is looking to continue serving his community on the council. Gotta will be running alongside Dawn Rankin, and Bridget Mohler. Gotta encourages the community of Knoxville to get out and vote.
“I certainly hope everybody gets out to vote. Your voice matters. Even though we are running unopposed with the city, the school board has a very important election as well. I encourage everybody to exercise your right, and get out to vote.”
The 2023 city and school elections are on November 7th.
