The Pleasantville Fine Arts program will present their first musical in seven years coming up in November. The production is Seussical the Musical and Pleasantville Fine Arts Promoter and Social Studies Teacher Chase Lampe says the production is based on the stories of Dr. Seuss.

“The audience is going to see a lot of characters that they recognize whether it’s the Cat in the Hat, Horton the elephant, The Who’s, the Grinch even makes an appearance. But the story itself is a unique story. So, it’s about a 20 year old musical that came out first in like the year 2000 or so. So, it’s a totally original story that mixes many of the stories of Dr. Seuss to create something new and unique.”

Performance of Seussical the Musical will be held Friday, November 3rd through Monday, November 5th. Find information regarding ticket prices and the musical at Pleasantville High School on the Pville Fine Arts Facebook page linked here.
