The Knoxville Volleyball ride came to an end in the class 4A regional final to North Scott 25-18, 25-11, and 25-17. The Lancers hitting up front and passing had Knoxville out of system several times during the match. The Panthers and Lancers were even through the first part of set one, but allowed North Scott to go on a 5-0 run to get some distance. Set two, the Panthers struggled to get into a rhythm and the 3rd set Knoxville settled down, but North Scott was too much. Coach Mollie Keitges told KNIA/KRLS Sports North Scott got Knoxville out of system.

Keitges: “They serve, receive and passed really well. We got a little too tentative on our free balls and returns. They were really good up and down their line up.”

Knoxville closes the season at 27-10 and will graduate five seniors, Ella Breazeale, Brittany Bacorn, Katie Deaver, Macenzie Karr, and Anna Buttell.
