Several area athletes and teams will compete at the Iowa High School State Cross Country meets in Fort Dodge on Friday and Saturday.

The following local teams are among the top 15 in their respective classes and will race for a state title are:

Pella – #1 Girls and #2 Boys, Class 3A
Pella Christian – #13 Boys, Class 2A
Indianola – #13 Girls, Class 4A
Norwalk – #10 Boys, Class 4A
Martensdale St. Marys – #7 Girls, Class 1A

Pella Christian’s Bailey Vos and Jaclyn Holmes
Indianola’s Reed Robbins
PCM’s Coby DeRaad and Lila Milani
Pleasantville’s Kurt Kuhnen
Southeast Warren’s Kaleigh Harvey and Ady Mason
Martensdale St. Marys’ Christian Choate and Isaiah Wheeldon

Class 1A and 4A athletes and teams will run at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge on Friday, while the 2A and 3A qualifiers will compete on Saturday.
