Enrollment at Pleasantville Community Schools continues to grow as the certified enrollment numbers have been released.
There are 758 students enrolled at Pleasantville Schools, which is up from 747.1 last year. This year’s enrollment is also the highest it’s been dating back to the 2009-2010 school year. Superintendent Tony Aylsworth says that despite seeing a small drop in resident enrollment, he is excited about the overall growth of the school.
“A couple of different dynamics that shifted a little bit, we actually had a slight dip in our resident enrollment, so the actual kids within Pleasantville Schools’ boundary lines. But that was more than offset by the increase we had overall, just in terms of student enrollment and through open enrollment mechanisms.”
