The Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department is excited for the use of the new splash pad in Knoxville’s new Veterans District this upcoming spring.

The Parks and Rec department added a new park in the Veterans District that includes swings, state-of-the-art playground equipment, and a splash pad. The new park is something that Parks and Recreation Department Director Brandon Nemmers is excited to have in the new development.

“We’re excited for next spring to kick that off. It’s just an awesome unique park. There’s not going to be another one like it because every aspect is customized. We’re just really excited about that.”

Knoxville’s new Veterans District is located at the site of the former Knoxville VA Campus.
