A new mural will be going up on the Knoxville square on the side of the building soon to be Ivory Soul.
Ivory Soul, the new business owned by Delaney Petersen located at 225 E Main Street has partnered with Knoxville High School art teacher Evy Beal to paint the mural highlighting some of Petersen’s favorite interests. The mural, which has already been started, features Bible verses, Petersen’s dogs, arches, and was designed by her and her mom. Ivory Soul is a gift shop that will primarily carry baby clothes, home decor, and pet supplies. Ivory Soul Owner Delaney Peterson wanted to connect her business with the Knoxville community by partnering with the school district for the mural.
“It’s super awesome. I just really hope someday we can have a super busy square where we can all get together and it’s fun to shop locally. Starting it off with a local artist is the first step so I think it is great.”
Ivory Soul will open for business on Thursday, November 16th for Living Windows in Knoxville.
