In the preseason edition of the individual National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III rankings, a pair of Central College wrestlers were cited in the top 15 of their weight classes.

Gage Linahon, a returning NCAA Division III Championships qualifier, was No. 5 at 197 pounds. Sophomore Pierre Baldwin landed at No. 12 in the 141-pound weight class. Linahon was 23-8 in 2022-23, placing in the top three at four tournaments and qualified for his second NCAA Division III Championships. Baldwin was 19-5 as a freshman, placing in the top six of four tournaments. He wrestled all 12 duals for Central at 141 pounds.
