The start of the Christmas Season at the Pella Opera House is just over two weeks away.

As part of the Festival of Trees celebration that runs from November 18th through December 2nd, the Christmas at the Opera House concert is set to return. Pella Opera House Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says that the concert, held the Sunday after Thanksgiving, will feature a variety of performances.

“There’ll be little sing-alongs where we can sing Christmas carols, we have a barbershop chorus that sings some beautiful music. The children’s choir will be here, our Scholte Strings will be in here, several soloists singing songs, and we will have a special guest artist on the Barton Theatre Organ this year. And we will also have Davis opening the concert up for us on the Barton Theatre Organ. Dr. Davis Folkerts has been a feature here on the organ but this year we’re looking forward to seeing a little bit of transition, and really want people to come and hear what this Barton can do.”

Christmas at the Opera House will be held on Sunday, November 26th beginning at 2 pm.
