The winter sports season is right around the corner at Norwalk High School, with the first varsity competition just 15 days away.

The Norwalk girls basketball team will play three games prior to Thanksgiving, starting with a trip to Urbandale on Friday, November 17. The Warriors host ADM on November 20 and play another non-conference game the following night at Bondurant-Farrar.

The Warrior boys basketball team, which finished last season at the state tournament, will scrimmage at Des Moines Christian on November 20 and open the season November 28 hosting Ballard as part of a girl-boy doubleheader.

The Norwalk girls wrestling team begins their second season on November 18 at the Nevada Tournament and hosts their own meet on November 21.

The Warrior boys wrestlers open their season November 30 with a dual meet at Dallas Center-Grimes.

The Norwalk bowling schedule is not yet posted on the Little Hawkeye Conference website.
