The holiday season is ramping up across the Tulip City, and that means visitors and residents will be enjoying a wide range of services and entertainment in the community over the next eight weeks. Director of Visit Pella Ann Frost says the Christmas holiday and the weeks leading up to the holiday are a huge boost to the local economy, especially with the wide range of local, unique businesses open throughout the community. Frost is thankful for the many partners from the City of Pella, to non-profit groups and other organizations, that work to promote the holidays with entertainment and activities. One of the biggest weekends of the year for the community in terms of spending is the Christmas Tour of Homes and the Kerstmarkt, which both return November 30th through December 2nd.
