The Simpson women’s volleyball team will have a home contest next week as they host rival Central in the American Rivers Conference Tournament first round, as the Storm earned the fourth seed after defeating Luther 3-0 on Wednesday. The Storm narrowly defeated Central in their regular season matchup 3-2 in a back-and-forth matchup, with Simpson going up 2-0 then dropping the next two sets, only to recover in the fifth set 16-14 to win. The Storm went 4-4 in the conference season, and host the rival Dutch on Tuesday at 7pm.
