A local non-profit dedicated to enhancing the Pella community is conducting a community survey to better gauge potential projects. The Spirit of Pella is gathering the research to better hone in on the desires of residents about what types of work the organization should be working on over the next ten years, according to board member Bob Zylstra. Among the projects completed by the group so far are enhanced holiday lighting decorations and a mural near Marion County Bank and The Brew, with the goal of enhancing both the Klokkenspel and Molengracht plazas downtown.
