Stepping Stones Early Learning Center (SSELC) received a $50,000 donation from the Pella Rolscreen Foundation towards their “STEP UP” capital campaign.
SSELC has supported and served hundreds of area families since the closing of the VA Child Care Center in 2005. Stepping Stones Board Member Stephanie Law said she is grateful to Pella Rolscreen Foundation for their donation. They recognize that many of their employees live in Knoxville and, as such, Pella Corporation benefits from the reliable, quality child care that Stepping Stones provides.
Stepping Stones Early Learning Center is asking for the local businesses and community members to continue to “STEP UP” and help them to reach their goal of $600,000. The funds raised, given in connection with the capital campaign, will be used to eliminate mortgage payments for the center and allow those funds to be redirected towards ongoing costs and improvements. Donations can be made by sending a check to Stepping Stones Early Learning Center, 300 Panther Drive, Knoxville, Iowa 50138, Venmo: knoxvillesteppingstones, or by making an online donation through their website at www.knoxvillesteppingstones.com/donate.
