The Simpson football team travels to Loras College to play the Duhawks in an American Rivers Conference clash, a matchup that features two of the top passing offenses in the conference. The Storm come in as the top passing team, averaging over 300 yards per game through the air, however they are 6th in rushing and have scored only six rushing touchdowns all season long. Head coach Reed Hoskins tells KNIA Sports his team has really bought in this week to owning every play, and not giving up big plays to the other teams offense.
“Certainly those big plays and what they meant to the final outcome last week was a change, we are really focused on the things we are doing well and trying to be as complete as possible with the way that we play. Making sure that we understand that every play is meaningful, and that we are limiting those big plays for the other team as much as possible.”
The game will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 12:35pm, with kickoff at 1pm.
