The Pella City Council will have their first regular meeting in November just over 24 hours before polls close for the upcoming election. The move was made from their typical Tuesday session. On the agenda are video agreements related to Pella Fiber, a resolution authorizing an application for the Enhance Iowa Grant and state funds for the proposed Pella Rec Center, and the 2nd reading of an ordinance relating to adult cabaret laws in the community. During policy and planning, the council will review revised policies related to a new sound system in the downtown area. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 6:00 Monday in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
