The Pella High School Robotics team successfully completed their first tournament of the season with a record of 5-1 for the day, and finished just behind the top ranked team from Urbandale. Coach Brent Ewell says the Bionic Dutch were successful in all three segments of each match, which includes the 30 second autonomous mode, the 90 second driver control section, and the 30 second endgame. The Dutch currently sit in second place out of twenty two teams in the Des Moines Metro league. The team’s next competition is Saturday, Nov. 18th at the DMACC Urban Campus in Des Moines.
