A group of 19 seventh and eighth grade students from Pella Christian Middle School visited the KNIA/KRLS Radio Studios in Knoxville on Monday.

As part of the field trip for their Storytelling class, the students took a tour of the radio station and learned about podcasts. Over approximately the last month, students in the class had created their own podcasts about various topics. Teacher Megan Ho said that the goal of her Storytelling class is to teach students multiple ways to tell stories, including podcasting.

“They’re learning to tell stories in different ways. I’m hoping to teach them that they can do podcasts, but a podcast can be listened to, or even watched.”
