Local Hy-Vee Stores will host a free dine-in breakfast for veterans and active military members on Friday. 

Locations in Indianola, Knoxville, Pella, and Oskaloosa will all be participating in providing a free buffet-style breakfast.  Hy-Vee District Director Dwayne McIntryre says they are proud to recognize the efforts of service members 

“What a humbling opportunity it is for our staff here at these stores to be able to give respect to those who have put their lives on the line for us, who they don’t even know. And so, it’s a privilege, and we definitely appreciate anybody that is able to come in and enjoy the breakfast, to just to give our little thanks to those who have helped keep you and me and everyone else in our community safe. ”

The annual Veterans Day Breakfasts at the Indianola, Knoxville, Pella, and Oskaloosa Hy-Vee stores will be served from 6-10 am.
