Marion County Eight-Man Football teams got several players on the District 7 list. From Twin Cedars on the 1st Team was Brenden Connett who caught 14 receptions for 145 yards and a touchdown. Defensively he recorded 44 tackles, which led the Sabers with three sacks, seven tackles for loss and a fumble recovery. Also on the 1st team was Gavin Clark, who recorded 43 tackles with two sacks, 11 for loss and three fumble recoveries. On the 2nd team was Holden Roberts. He had a team leading 16 receptions for 214 yards and two scores. On defense he had 16 tackles, eight for loss and three fumble recoveries. Also on the 2nd team was Noah Fee, who had 33 tackles, two for loss and one interception. Earning an honorable mention was Dallas Smith. From Melcher-Dallas on the 1st team was Ryan Heaton. He recorded 38 tackles this season. On the 2nd team was Kael Caikoski, who led the Saints with 248 yards rushing and scored five touchdowns. On defense he also recorded 30 tackles. The Sabers went 1-9 on the season while the Saints finished the season at 1-8.
