The Indianola girls swimming team has two events qualified to the Girls State Swimming Meet at Marshalltown beginning today. Olivia Bacon will swim in the 50 Yard Freestyle prelims today in the 2nd heat. The lone Indians senior qualified with a time of 25.06, and will swim in the second of four heats, with the top eight times advancing to championship Saturday. The Indians other event will swim on Saturday in timed finals, with Indianola’s quartet of Bacon, Olivia Costigan, Chloey Hart, and Guinevere McCusker swimming in the 400 Freestyle Relay.
