Local Future Farmers of America (FFA) students from area high schools attended the 2023 National FFA Convention November 1st-4th.
Students from Melcher-Dallas, Pleasantville, Southeast Warren, and Twin Cedars made the trip to Indianapolis, Indiana for the convention, which included general sessions, workshops, entertainment and sightseeing. Southeast Warren FFA Advisor Alex Rodgers says that going to the National Convention is a great experience and encourages all students to be involved with their local FFA.
“I just encourage any kids to get involved in your local FFA chapter. Do whatever you can to get that experience at the National Convention, because it is something you’re going to remember. I remember my high school trips to the National Convention, and those people that I went with, those are just great lifetime experiences to have.”
