The Pella Community Food Shelf has gathered hundreds of items in preparation for an annual tradition to benefit the families they serve. Executive Director Melissa Zula says distribution of their Thanksgiving boxes will take place during regular hours this Tuesday and on November 21st during their regular hours at 1111 West 16th Street. Zula calls the project her favorite each year, as it takes several different organizations to create more than 300 meals for families in need.
