The PCM girls basketball team will open their season on Friday when they host Chariton.

The Mustang girls competed Monday night at a jamboree at Lynnville-Sully, and will now kick off the regular season against the Chargers on Friday. The Mustangs will bring back top scorers from last season Tori Lindsay and Addison Steenhoek to help propel PCM to a successful 2023-2024 season. PCM Girls Basketball Coach Sami Allison-Rodriquez encourages everyone to come out to the game, and she loves the support system of PCM fans.

“Our support system is amazing here. From administration, to the parents, to the fans. Even all summer long people were saying how excited they were to get back into the gym. It’s winter time in Iowa and we try really hard to bring an exciting game to PCM.”

Friday’s varsity contest against Chariton starts at 7:30 pm.
