twin-cedars-4

The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad looks to improve the wins and loses from last season. The Sabers finished 5-16 last year and just 2-7 in the Bluegrass Conference led by returning sophomore Holden Roberts who averaged 13.6 points per game as a freshman. This season, Roberts will need to find teammates to help out due to the departures of three seniors last year, two of them were the 2nd and 3rd leading scorers. Kail Arkema and Kasey Clark both graduated last season so that leaves a void of 346 of the Sabers’ 900 total points from last season. Listen for an interview with Coach Mateo Varese on a future Hy-Vee Radio Coaches Corner on 92.1 KRLS. The Sabers will start their season November 28th against East Union.
