Girls athletes at Pella High School will open the winter competition season this week. The Dutch girls wrestlers will travel to Ballard Thursday, followed by the opening game for the Pella girls basketball team hosting Atlantic Friday, and the wrestlers returning in a tournament Saturday at Urbandale.

Pella girls basketball coach Blaine Forsythe and girls wrestling coach Adam Hale will preview their respective seasons on this Saturday’s KRLS Radio Coaches Corner. The opening basketball broadcast of the winter begins at 5:30 this Friday on 92.1 KRLS and Pella Dutch Live.
