The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday, which included receiving the annual report from the Indianola Public Library in the work session. The council held a discussion regarding the South K Street assessment methodology, and gave direction regarding the timeline, which includes a public hearing on the assessment in January.
The council also approved Community Development Block Grant Applications for the downtown building facade grants, a 27-cent increase to recycling rates, a plat of survey, and a major site plan application, and members to the Sustainability Committee and Public Arts Commission before going into closed session to discuss the purchase or sale of real estate.
