
The Pleasantville girls basketball team dropped their season opener on the road to #2 in Class 2A Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 69-23 Tuesday night.
The Trojans had difficulty coming up with much offense at all during the contest after just mustering up three points in the first quarter and two points in the third quarter. Joelle Johnson was the leading scorer for Pleasantville, with 15 points on the night. First year head coach Allyson Simpson and the Trojans fall to 0-1 to start the year and will be back in action on Tuesday, November 28th against Melcher-Dallas.
