The City of Indianola has announced the completion of Phase 1 of the East Hillcrest Reconstruction Project, which will now reopen for the winter. Public Works Director Akhilesh “AP” Pal tells KNIA News the project is a partnership with the Iowa DOT to expand the industrial area to the east side of Highway 65/69. Further enhancements will be made as Phase 2 of the project begins next spring.
