The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is asking residents to help support the local economy today and tomorrow for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, which is always designated as the Saturday after Thanksgiving to focus on small businesses during the most popular shopping time of the year.

Indianola Chamber President and CEO Amanda Zwanziger tells KNIA News the support for local businesses has grown over the last several years as those in the community have learned they can get most of their holiday shopping done right here in town, so she thinks that is a trend that will continue.

The KNIA Big Red Radio will be on the square playing Christmas music for shoppers tomorrow.
