After a season opening loss to PCM last week, the Knoxville Girls basketball Squad will take the floor tonight. Bondurant-Farrar will be the opponent. The BlueJays have routinely been a late season opponent to fill out the schedule for the Panthers but this season, Coach Matt Ritchchart wanted to move that game up to the 2nd game of the season to give his team a look at one of the strongest teams in the area, so his girls are ready for the challenges of the late season and regionals. The Panthers have to deal with another Steenhoek providing a challenge from the BlueJays.

Bondurant-Farrar finished 3rd in a very deep Raccoon River Conference last season. The player referred to is Chesney Steenhoek, who scored 17 points on 6/7 from the field in a 68-55 season opening loss to Norwalk on Tuesday.
