The Norwalk girls wrestlers finished 0-5 in Saturday’s Linn-Mar Dual Tournament, placing fifth in Pool B and 10th overall.

The Warriors were defeated by Cedar Falls (84-0), Raccoon River (78-6), Iowa City High (39-24), Waverly-Shell Rock (72-6) and Dubuque Hempstead (48-24) in the ninth-place dual. Individually, Norwalk recorded seven pins on the day, including three by sophomore 170-pounder Katie Liedtke. Madison Froehle, Madelyn Carroll, Maggie Evans and Hannah Smith each added one win by fall.

Waverly-Shell Rock won the tournament, defeating Southeast Polk 48-33 in the championship dual.

Norwalk returns to action Thursday night, November 30, with a Little Hawkeye Conference dual at Dallas Center-Grimes. The meet will start at 6:15 p.m.
