A season on the road awaits the Pella high school bowlers and begins today, coming off of a year that featured an individual state qualifier in both boys and girls competition for the school.

State Qualifiers Carter Failor and Taylor Walker will lead the Dutch on the road after the closure of 200 Dutch Bowl, with a new head coach at the helm. Bryan Smith is joined by two experienced assistants as Pella travels to Newton for practices and competitions.

The Dutch open the season today at Oskaloosa, with competition beginning at 2 p.m.
