The Pella School Board is hosting its annual organizational meeting today. The board, after adjourning with outgoing directors Tim Tripp and Gary Coppock, will welcome new members Travis Thompson and Paul Weesner, who will take their oath of office. The board will then elect its president and vice president.

Also on the agenda is a public hearing for the upcoming school calendar, as well as a review of policy changes proposed in response to legislative action taken earlier this year. Additionally, the board will consider their official secretary, treasurer, publication, legal counsel, and any potential changes to the board calendar in the current academic year.
