The Indianola girls and boys basketball teams travel to Southeast Polk High School tonight for a non-conference matchup with the Rams. The Indians girls are looking to get back on track after a season opening loss to Urbandale, however it will be tough against the #11 in class 5A Rams who are off to a 2-0 start with a pair of blowout victories.
The new-look Indians boys start their season tonight, featuring a nearly entirely new varsity roster, as they bring back just one athlete with varsity experience in Andrew DeWall. Head coach Jeff Ebling tells KNIA Sports he expects some growing pains over the first several weeks of the season, but it will all depend on how the team grows from their first varsity experiences.

The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6pm, with tip-off scheduled for 6:15pm.
