The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday for Innovative Beauty & Wellness, welcoming the business to the downtown square area and to the chamber. Owner Jamie Briar tells KNIA News this is her second location after opening two years ago in Colfax, and has already seen the benefits of joining the chamber and being welcomed by the Indianola and area community.

“The chamber does a great job of including businesses in a lot of the events around town and helped bring people in. I’m learning a lot about Indianola, I’ve only lived here for 18 months, so I’ve met a lot of great people and I’m learning a lot about the town.”
