One of the biggest days of the year for small businesses took place Saturday, with shoppers flooding the Indianola square for Small Business Saturday. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Amanda Zwanziger tells KNIA News people may be surprised by just how much the Indianola businesses have to offer for holiday shopping, and anyone that missed the deals on Saturday should come down and spend some time on the square and surrounding area to take a look around.

The chamber also hosted the Shop, Savor, Sip Passport Shopping Spree Contest, where shoppers would purchase from local businesses and receive a stamp to be entered into a drawing for Warren County Gift Certificates.

The KNIA Big Red Radio was on the square playing Christmas music for shoppers throughout the morning and afternoon.
