The first ever Pella girls wrestler to sign for a college spot has made her next destination official. Emmalee Spurgeon is heading to Grand View University to join the Vikings wrestling program after graduation.

Spurgeon was one of the three state qualifiers for the Dutch last winter, winning her first match in the 155 pound weight class. The senior is off to a 9-0 start and will join her team in Pleasantville this evening. Emmalee is featured on Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page.
