Pella firefighters responded to a fully engulfed structure that was discovered to be on fire by arriving construction crews Friday morning. Fire Chief Randy Bogaard says the unoccupied building prompted four trucks to respond at 9:07 Thursday morning. Fire crews were able to prevent complete destruction, but it appears to Bogaard initially that the facility is a total loss. The Pella Police Department and Pella Ambulance assisted, and no injuries were reported.
