Several presidential candidates continue to make stops in south central Iowa ahead of the Iowa Caucuses. Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson visited Vermeer Corporation Wednesday afternoon, with both State Representative Barb Kniff McCulla and Sheriff Jason Sandholdt in attendance. Hutchinson focused his campaign message on being alternative to some of the louder voices in the party and honed in on his years of leadership both in Arkansas and as former Director of the DEA and time in U.S. Congress. Hutchinson answered questions about views on manufacturing, bipartisanship, the workforce, and artificial intelligence after discussing his positions on immigration, taxation, and other major issues.
