The family of a young girl who died in a sledding accident last winter is working to keep her memory alive through positive efforts. The Zellmers are working to remember their daughter Milly through acts of kindness from January 24th through February 16th. They are asking anyone to consider creating Milly Moments by doing acts of kindness during that time, and then leave a specialized postcard behind to show what was accomplished. The cards available at several area businesses next month will also have Milly bracelets, like the ones recently featured by one of the best basketball teams in the country.

As pictured above, the Iowa Women’s Basketball Team wore bracelets in memory of Milly, including reigning National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark. Former Dutch All-State Football Player and Iowa Hawkeye Nick DeJong also showcased the bracelet as part of “Milly’s Travels.”
