Southeast Warren High School and the Iowa College Access Network is hosting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Completion event for seniors and their parents in January.

Due to the changes to the form this year, the Department of Education anticipates that the 2024-2025 FAFSA will not be released until the end of December. The event, which will be held Wednesday, January 31st in the High School Office, has appointments available every 30 minutes from 2-7 pm. With changes to the form that is detailed and complex, Southeast Warren School Counselor Jodi Clendenen encourages all seniors and their family to set up an appointment.

“Anytime there’s changes, it’s always just good to have that expert sitting there with you and walk you through questions or concerns that you might have in a way that is a little more step by step, instead of trying to figure it out on your own.”

For more information or to reserve an appointment, contact the school at 641-466-3331. Hear more about the FAFSA Completion Event from Jodi Clendenen on today’s In Touch with South Central Iowa.
