A visit from Sinterklaas capped a busy weekend celebrating the upcoming Christmas holiday in Pella on Saturday. Pella Historical Museums hosted their annual parade and ceremony on the Tulip Toren, which also marked the beginning of the final day of the three-day Christmas Tour of Homes and the Kerstmarkt Dutch Christmas Market. Tulip Queen Mia Andringa and the royal court of Alexa Klein, Olivia Cunningham, Claire Braafhart, and Ellison Ritzert also made their first official appearance as part of the festivities. The Pella Opera House also wrapped up the annual Festival of Trees and the Union Street Players hosted their first run of shows of Cinderella.
