Another 5-0 week for Central College men’s wrestler Pierre Baldwin earned him not only the American Rivers Conference Wrestler of the Week but also the league’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Baldwin punctuated his 5-0 week with a 12-4 major decision over Sam Stuhl of Augsburg University (Minn.) to win the MSOE Invitational. Stuhl is the reigning national champion and #1 ranked wrestler in the country. Winning four of his five matches in bonus point fashion, Baldwin also gave Central a six-point fall in a 36-9 dual win over Augustana College (Ill.) on Thursday. It’s the second time Baldwin has been the league’s wrestler of the week, having won the award earlier this year on November 6th.

Baldwin and the Dutch next compete in the Prairie Wolf Duals in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, December 16th.
