The Indianola boys swimming team is coming off of a pair of solid performances over the weekend and will look to continue that tonight hosting Ankeny Centennial, while the Indianola girls basketball team hosts Des Moines Roosevelt.

The Indians boys swimmers won a four-team meet at the Newton YMCA over the weekend, and had some great finishes last Thursday in a competitive meet at #1 Ames. They will take on an Ankeny Centennial team that is currently ranked #2, with the meet beginning at the Indianola YMCA at 5:30pm.

The Indians girls basketball team is coming off of their first victory of the season over Newton where they put up a season high in points with 63, and only allowed 23 points from the Cardinals. They face off against a Roughriders team that has won two straight after a tough schedule to start the season. Head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports they will look to build off of the momentum from Friday’s game, and continue to try and rebound and play defense at a high level in order to compete. The game starts tonight at 7:30pm.
