Several oaths of office were administered at Monday night’s Knoxville City Council meeting.

Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch was sworn in for his sixth term as mayor of Knoxville, and council members John Gotta, Dawn Rankin and Bridget Mohler were sworn in to start their new term on the city council. Gotta will be entering his second term, Rankin will be entering her first full term as she recently served a partial term, and Mohler will start her first term. There were also oaths of office given to Crisis K9’s Glory and Marshall. 

There was also a resolution approved for disposal of an interest in real property at 314 W Robinson St, and a lengthy discussion regarding litigation of a property located at 621 N Lincoln St. The meeting concluded with the approval for the site plan for the new Marion County Bank branch building with drive up lanes.
