After a tough week against North Polk and Norwalk, the Pella basketball teams are aiming to hit the reset button at home today when they welcome Washington to town.

The Dutch (2-2 girls, 0-2 boys) were swept in the first full week of the winter season, but both teams will aim to find success against Demons teams they’ve done well against over the years, but a pair that will be coming to town seeking upsets and quality wins for postseason seeding.

A Washington boys team comes in very young for a Class 3A squad, featuring no senior starters and only one returning player of their top six last season, junior Logan McDole. The Demons girls have three seniors with starts this winter (Jacey Berg, Taylor Bartholomew, and Maci Williams).
